It's the 15th of the month and so it's the start of a new challenge and it's a fabulous and soft mood board.

Blue-Nika! ;-)

Hello. Online I exist as Blue-Nika, in real my name is Monika Czerkas and I love blue color, well and royal blue exactly.

I like creating small paper forms - ATC, inchies.

Scrapbooking gives me a moment of forgetfulness. I look for inspiration in words - in books and poems. I can't imagine my life in the big city, I have to be close to nature and the mountains.

Our 2nd Guest Designer is Yasmin...a warm welcome to you! ;-)

Hi, my name is Yasmin Tölche,

I'm a Norwegian girl born in 1980. Mom to two awesome boys, Felix and Collin. I'm happily married to Kristian and together we live in a small mountain village in Kyrksæterøra, Norway with our Rottweiler, Penny and our cat Amy. All of the above is victim of my scrapbook obsession.

I currently work for a scrapbook store in Norway doing postings online. I see myself as a fun girl with a good sense of humor and creativity. I started scrapbooking in August 2005. I came across this hobby totally by accident when i was at a friends house. I've always loved to cut and paste pictures in albums and doing some type of scrapbooking on a low level. But it was in 2005 when i really got into it. I'm what you call an all around scrapper. I do everything from cards, mini albums, altered projects and layouts. I love scrapping pages with paints, mist and getting my hands messy. I don't think i have a definite style, I do everything from vintage to inky and painted projects. Love layers.. lots and lots of layers..

I'm in the starting pit of my educator careerr.. I love educating and I'd hope to do more of that in the future.

In my part of the world, 01 September is the start of Spring! ;-) So to all the southern hempispherians...welcome to Spring! ;-) It certainly puts a spring in my step! ;-) LOL

Hi,

I'm Valerie Ouellet from Québec (Canada) and I've been scrapbooking for 6 years now. I'm a stay-at-home mom happy to be taking care of 3 little monsters which are often the main subject of my pages. While I'm creating, my style is quite lively and colorful and I tend to use watercolor often and medium.

I'm a designer for 2Crafty Chipboard for 2015-2016, Guest DT for Faber Castell Design memory craft for july to october 2015 and guest Dt for Cuts2luv for august 2015, a company of scrapbook flat flair sold on etsy.

We have another Guest Designer for this challenge and she is a previous TOP HAT

Paivi Jankala. Paivi is a wonderfully talented, crafty gal! ;-)

Hi, my name is Päivi and I live with my family in a small town in Sweden. For a very long time, about 20-25 years, I have made my own cards for different occations but I started with scrapbooking 2009 when I made my first layout. Nowadays I mostly do layouts and cards but also sometimes other projects.

Can´t say that I have a specific stile when I create, it is quite simple but not Clean and Simple.  I love colors and using colors on my projects, often on white cardstock to realy bring out the colors.

I have designed for some Swedish stamp and paper manufactors over the years and have been guest designer for some scrapbooking stores. Currently I´m on the design team for a Swedish and a Finnish inspiration blog.

Just love Denise's sketch for this challenge. I made a page with photos on our little family taken this summer. For the background on this layout I used  watercolors, modelling paste, micro beads and a mask. Patterned papers are from the Swedish manufactor I used to design for. The clock and the square on the middle are cut out with Silhoutte.

 Finally, I would like to thank you, for being picked as Top Hat and got this opportunity  to be a guest designer here at the Scrap Africas blog.
