Scrap Africa Sketch Challenge no. 74

Hello Everyone

It's a new month and a new sketch challenge!

This month, we also have some very exciting news.
As of this month, our challenges will run for an entire month, so you will have lots of time to play along and prepare your entries.
Double the time and double the fun! ;-)

So here's our first monthly sketch.

You can create a card, tag, layout, an altered project, journal pages or even a digital project!
You can create whatever you like! ;-)
We would just love to know what inspired you from the sketch and the sentiment behind your project!;-)

Guest Designer Badge

Today we have 2 amazing Guest Designers, who are TOP HATS from previous challenges.
A very warm welcome to Jolanda Oudshoorn and Emma Fryxelius.

To start, here is a little about our first Guest Designer, Jolanda.

Hello, My name is Jolanda and I live in the Netherlands. I am a 23 year old creative and enthusiastic student Interior Design at the art academy. For me scrapbooking is a way to relax and a wonderful creative outlet besides my study. I make mostly lay-outs, but also make cards every once in a while. I often work with watercolour paint and ink to create the basis for my lay-outs. I especially love creating nice compositions and finding the right colours and materials to create the perfect lay-out. You can find more of my work at my blog: http://jolandascrapscreaties.blogspot.nl/
 x Jolanda

This is my take on the May sketch. I found it a very nice and inspiring sketch to work with.

The basis of my lay-out was made with watercolour paint and

stamps. I finished my lay-out with different kinds of embellishments.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

We so love the styling and design of this page! So fresh and gorgeous! ;-)
Here are some close-ups.

A fun and fabulous page! ;-) Thanks so much Jolanda! ;-)
Our second Guest Designer is Emma Fryxelius...and here's a little about Emma.

My name is Emma Fryxelius and I live in Sweden. I started out as a card maker 16 years ago, now-a-days I make mostly layouts, pocket scrapbooking and mixed media. For me, it is the photo and the story that is most important when I scrap. If they are in focus the layout will stay interesting throughout the passing of time and the inevitable changes of trends and personal taste. The colours is another thing of great importance to me, If they do not harmonize I do not like my finished layout. I keep my layouts relatively simple but with an attention to detail, and I love stamps and inks and masks. You are most welcome to visit me at www.dorcasdetaljer.wordpress.com
This sketch was so inspiring and I made a layout about how my daughter loves to help out with the dishes. The title translates: “Mummy’s little helper”. It is not the best photo perhaps, but it tells a story that I want to remember. Soon, my daughter will be all grown up, and will probably shun all chores. ;-)  Thank you Scrap Africa for having me as a Guest Designer!

We love the styling and super background of this page! The crocheted doilies and the sweet, sweet photo are perfect! ;-)
Thanks so much Emma for this beautiful project! ;-)
Thanks again to Jolanda and Emma! Your projects are stunning! ;-)
To see more of their beautiful work, please pop over to their blogs! I am sure they would welcome the visit!
As always, we also have the Design Team to inspire you.
So let's have a look at the projects they created! ;-)

This month is no different, but this month we have 2  random giveaways! ;-)
