Meet the new Design Team

Hello Everyone

As you will know, we have some exciting new Design Team members and they have already started showing us their beautiful work! But I wanted to really introduce you to these lovely and creative ladies....so that you get to know them and watch out for their eye candy!

So today we take a look at these ladies, Ana Paula Cardoso, Anna Solnyshkina and Asmah Zainal Abidin.

Ana Paula Cardoso

Name: Ana Paula Bastos Cardoso
Age: 31 years
I am from Balneário Camboriú - SC, Brazil
I'm married and i have a couple of Kids.
After God my family is my biggest inspiration.
I love scrapbook and your infinite possibilities of application and i work with It 2 years.

My work and my style is eclectic but I consider more Shabby chic and clean.
I don't use a lot of technique and not cling to it, I just  let my heart flow to the role and everything I do in scrapbook.

Here is some of Ana Paula's beautiful work.

Please pop over to Ana Paula's blog for some more inspiration.

My name is Anna Solnyshkina, I live in Moscow, Russia.
I'm a mom of one sweet son - Misha, and I can't imagine my life without all this creative mess in my craftroom :) I create since 2012.  My passion are layouts, cards and altered art.
I work in different styles - shabby chic, vintage .. Paints and sprays my favorite craft supplies with flowers and resins, I love lots of layers and decor. My second love at this time - video tutorial.  But my big love is flowers, I use them in all my works.

Let's have a look at some of Anna's work.

To see more of Anna's eye candy, please pop over to her blog! ;-)

"Hi! I am Asmah from Malaysia married to a supporting husband and a mother to four blessings. Since leaving the National TV station years ago, I am able to do arts&crafts full-time from home which I am so passionate about. I love artwork, art journal, scrapbooking, making cards, altered projects, home decoration, photography besides sewing, counted cross-stitch, ribbon embroidery, beadwork and needlecraft (when time allows). I love making flowers and embellishments, creating background, experimenting and exploring, learning happy mistakes along the way ever since my love for mixed media emerges the past couple of years. My style is always shabby/vintage with lots of bulky layers {I always say the more the merrier but sometimes I also love less is more} and the next minute will dabble in my work with inks and paints which is my true forte since childhood. I've been in some design teams the past years. At present I use variety of digital images for two design teams. I also play with lots of medium as part of my commitment to a mixed media design team. And on this day I feel happy to join Scrap Africa design team, thank you Denise. Last but not least, I am blessed by the inspirations from my children who are my strength and main source to keep me going into my artistic journey which can be viewed at my blog. I love to inspire and being inspired. Thank you for your time and artsy&crafty support."

Here is some of Asmah's super work!

To see more of Asmah's beautiful work, please pop over to her blog! ;-)

Welcome ladies and we really do look forward to seeing much, much more of your gorgeous work!

Hi, I'm Libeeti Frenkel. I live in Israel, nearby Jerusalem, with my two boys, aged 12 and 9.
I work fulltime job and I love my job very much, but I'm also an addicted scrapper :).
I started scrapbooking on 2010, with the encouragement of a virtual friend, and I was totally hooked by this hobby. Scrapbooking became my stress relief from the everyday duties.
Besides scrapping, I also love reading, traveling, being at the beach and wathing the waves, etc.
I have been very fortunate to be on several DT, and currently on the CSI DT (Color, Stories, Inspiration); Stuck?! Sketches DT; Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge DT and a Guest Desinger of an Australin embellishment store StudioFourteen40.

I love to work with sketches and to try new techniques, new mediums and everything that makes me go out of my comfort zone. My style can be described with multi-layers, distressing and mixed media, but I also love to try a CAS style and vintage/shabby chick styles.

If you wish to see my work, I'd be very happy if you pop over to my blog:

A little more about our new DT members

Hello Everyone

Life has been hectic, but I have been wanting to tell you a little more about our new Design Team Members.
Please accept my apologies for these introductions that are loooong overdue!!

So without further adieu, here are the first lot of ladies I would like to introduce to you, as well as show you some of their work. They are a really super bunch and I am so pleased that they are on the team.

Hi! My name is Arantzazu, I have been scrapbooking since march 2010 and I am still addicted to it!
I love creating LOs, mixed media proyects and mini albums.
I don't have an own style, it depends in the proyect I'm working on, I love changing styles....learning diferent technics, using new elements....
That's all! :)

Here is a little taste of Arantzazu's work.

My name is Alicja "Asica" Panewka. In scrapbooking world I'm known as "asica.p". I was born and rised in small, beatutiful polish town - Cieszyn. Following my heart last year I moved to another beautiful city - Galway in Ireland where I live with three lovely boys: my partner and two sons.
Arts and crafts are with me since I remember. 8 years ago I found scrapbooking and that was first day of my new life. This is not only hobby. For me this is passion, this is addiction, this is way of my life. I'm creating different projects: cards, albums, boxes, sometimes mixed media too.
I was a DT member for few polish companies: Rapakivi, I kropka, Studio75, The MiniArt and guest designer for Scrapandmade, Lemonade, Crafthouse, Galeria Rae. Now I'm a brand ambassador of Scrapiniec (first polish chipboard producer).
I'm very happy and proud to be a part of Scrap Africa Design Team.
Asica

Here is some of Asica's eye candy.

My name is Athanasia, I live in Greece, I have a 5 years old daughter, a 6 months old son and a very supportive and understanding husband. I am a music teacher in elementary school and in my spare time, when I am not playing the piano, I love making handicrafts, felting, altering things and of course scrapbooking.
My love for arts and my cultural worries pushes me constantly into researching and producing new ways of expression and creativeness. My first steps into scrapbooking began with some videos on YouTube. I can't remember exactly what I was looking for, but out of nowhere I run into a 'how-to' video for making a mini album. And that was it! I started searching for more related tutorials (I love watching and learning new techniques) and on the very next day I found myself surrounded by papers and scissors making my first mini album. It has been 3 years since then and although I took a year's brake (due to my pregnancy) now I am back.
I love scrapbooking because it combines such a vast deposit of media types with memories of my life and my family. Inspiration always derives from the photograph I use and the open choice of combination of mixed media techniques. I love to use gesso, mists and stamps and I love tearing papers! Through scraping I think I have found the best way to express myself and exploit my spare time in the best way.

Let's take a look at some of Athanasia's work.

I am so pleased to have these ladies on the team! They are wonderfully, talented ladies!
We really look forward to seeing all your work!
