We are proud to introduce you

Our special Guest Designer - Janna Werner

I was born 1978 in Oldenburg, Germany and still live there - together with my husband, our dog Sindri, 2 rabbits and some fishes.

My passion for anything paper and paint related started in April 2010, cardmaking, scrapbooking and mixed media art totally captured my heart.

I am co-founder of the project 2frollein who offer German online classes in the crafting segment. I'm also co-publisher of the German scrapbooking and mixed media magazine  "Die Scrapperin".

And here is Janna's project:

I have to admit that I don´t have certain days when everything sucks, but due to my hearing impairment, I sometimes have days when I feel blue and telling myself that after the rain comes sun always helps me getting over it.

One more Guest Designer Sarah Groen

And one more Guest Designer (she won her spot based on the previous challenge results)

It was just an ordinary day, but teh weather was not very good, the ran started from the morning. We didn't want to go for a walk in the aprk or so, but e and my granddaughter felt bored at home, so we decidede to go to the museum. There were a few visitors, so we were even more lucky to have our time for checking everything we were interested in, taking photos. That's how we turned teh ordinary day into a special one!

And now on to our Design Team reveal:

Rene' Sharp - Every day...

Denise van Deventer - YOU

Cathy Lane
A Special Kind Of Love

Everyday Gift Tag - Jowilna Nolte
i simply loved this quote and it's so applicable to everyday life whether we like it or not. So for this challenge I made a gift tag for a special friend. And to recycle the tag it can be turned into a bookmark for her diary as an everyday reminder. Such a little thing - but a huge impact. Loved this challenge.

Patricia Basson  Every day...

Elizna Parsons - Every day...

The random winner of this challenge will win a prize from our  sponsor - Flourish with a bling

We are waiting for your works till the 1st of September:

Meet the team- Denise

Hello to all our dear scrappy friends!
As we already mentioned, we have a new addition to our team.
Today we want to introduce you to Denise van Deventer
We believe that you will fall in love with her projects.
Please give a very warm welcome to this wonderful lady!

************

I am a devoted mother, giving wife and happy creator!  I am a very happy scrapper and love creating layouts, as well as cards and altered projects. I am not sure that I have a particular style, probably somewhere between classic and shabby.   I love chipboards and embelishments, and I am always keen to try new things and once I have an idea, I really have to run with it, and must get to it as soon as I possibly can!
I give classes at two local Scrapbook stores and love sharing my ideas and creativity with others.

Many things inspire me and my son is definitely one of those things.  I also love colour and layering, but sometimes clean and simple does the trick. I love photography and really enjoy taking good photo’s that can later be scrapped.  I truly believe that great photo’s make for great projects.

I work in the IT department at South African Airways and this really keep me busy.  I work with a really great bunch of people and I really enjoy what I do. So I am blessed to have a great job as well as my passion for paper crafting!

My blog address is www.strawbspatch.blogspot.com and I would really appreciate it, if you would visit and say hello.

It is such an honour for me to be on the DT at Scrap Africa and I look forward to being a part, of a very talented group of ladies.

Here are a few of Denise's  layouts for you to enjoy :-)

Don't forget that you still have time to play in our challenge About a boy

Tmorrow we will be back with results of our previous sketch.

Our special Guest Designer  - Georgia

Hi, I'm Georgia, 36 and I live in beautiful Tasmania, Australia. I discovered scrapbooking in March 2011 while searching for wedding album ideas and have been completely obsessed ever since. I am not sure how to define my style, maybe eclectic grunge? My favorite products to use are paints, ink and stamps and my pages tend to be quite layered and messy. I am currently designing for Once Upon A Sketch & Bird Is The Word Challenge blogs as well as running my own Scrapbook Kit Club & Store,

www.paperstories.com.au. Thank you so much to the Scrap Africa girls for asking me to be guest designer this month, I love playing along with these challenges!

Challenge # 7 - About a boy

Hello dear all! Today with a bit of a delay (sorry for that) we are ready to reveal our new challenge! Hope you will find time to join us, its a nice and quite an easy one:)

Challenge # 7 is dedicated to the wonderful men in our lives - big or small.
Make any scrap object dedicated to a man or a boy.
The catch is that it must have a phrase on it: it can be your own words or a quote but it must tell what is so special about that person to whom you dedicate your project.
