Challenge no.23 - "White with a Pinch Of"

Hello Everyone

Are you getting ready for Christmas? Has the holiday preparations started? Have you finished all your Christmas cards? Are you off on vacation soon? LOL...

I am certainly looking forward to the festive season and I am also going to be taking some leave to spend time at home. Here in Africa it is also summer and we have had some wonderfully hot days, and the afternoons and evenings have been filled with thunderstorms! That is Africa at it's best!!

Many of you on the other side of the world, have possibly already had some snow and winter has started to set it. So perhaps this challenge will be right up your alley.

Today's challenge is "White with a pinch of" and is about creating a project that is 90% white and 10% any other colours.

We have a really super Guest Designer today, she is a really lovely lady and is also so very talented. She is well known in the scrapping industry, Lynn Shokoples.

Hi Everyone! My name is Lynn Shokoples and I live in Alberta, Canada. I am a wife and a mother to two wonderful kids and two rambunctious puppies. Paper crafting has been a love of mine for a long time. I started scrapbooking back in 1992. It's so fun to go back and look at those first pages. I love to see how the paper crafting industry has grown. I also love to art journal, alter items for my studio, read, play the piano and just hang out with my family and friends. My name is Mona Pendleton, I live with my sweet husband, Scott in Phoenix, AZ USA. We have a blended family consisting of two teenagers, two grown young adults and two 8 year old West Highland Terriers. I work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room of an Orthopedic Hospital and in my spare time I find it enjoyable to use the other side of my brain, playing with paper crafting products creating various projects. I first started scrapbooking too long ago to remember when which spilled over into card making, creating home decor projects and gifts for family, friends and coworkers. I enjoy creating with stamps, dies, paint, ink, markers and anything else that allows me to be creative. I love lots of layers, colors, and find happiness in all the little details!

Sketch no.23

Hello Everyone

Welcome to November and welcome to our new challenge!

We have a sketch challenge up today and it's another great sketch from Page Maps.

We have a super special Guest Designer for this challenge and that is Keri Babbitt. Keri is a really familiar face in the scrapping industry and is really such a fresh and talented scrapper.

Hi there, I’m Keri Babbitt. I’m a mom of two, who’s been happily crafting since high school. I love capturing life’s moments and expressing myself artistically through craft-making.

I’m obsessed with anything vintage and love trying new techniques, as well as finding creative ways combine new products with my existing stash. I love to experiment with any and every scrapping style, from minimalist to shabby chic. I am often a grid‐based, multi‐photo scrapper, and I love using mixed media techniques on my scrappy projects.
