New DT Member - Val Thorpe

Hi Everyone

I have some really exciting news, we have a new DT member! She is really a very talented and creative lady! A warm welcome to Val Thorpe! ;-)

Hi my name is Val and I am a scrap-a-holic. I have been married to Simon for 37 years and we have two kids, Clint and Storm, a DIL Lin who is expecting twins in Feb, four very spoilt yorkies and a beautiful cat called Hansa. I am lucky enough not to have to work and to have a very well kitted out studio. I get to travel a lot and photography is my other passion and so I always have loads of material to scrap. My passion with scrapbooking is the journalling (newly discovered) and now I am going back through my layouts to add the stories.

I am on the DT at Once Upon a Sketch, CSI, Let's Scrap and Black with 2. I am also addicted to challenges. I like the fact that they challenge me to think outside the box and to try things that ordinarily I may not have...
