How it works

Hello everyone!
We are very excited to welcome you on our challenge blog Scrap Africa!

Why did we start this blog? Simply because we want to showcase and celebrate the creative talent that we have in our beautiful land. At the same time we want to share it with the rest of the world and be inspired by others. While our main focus is on scrapbooking in Southern Africa we hope that our challenges will attract scrappers from different parts of the world.

This is how it works.
On the 1st day of each month we are having a new sketch for a layout for your inspiration, you have 2 weeks to play with us
on the 15th we are having a challenge running for 2 weeks as well ( you can make any kind of project for it)

You can combine our challenges with challenges from other blogs.
Only make sure that you do not combine similar challenges together (for example: if we give you a theme for a challenge you can't enter your project into our challenge if other blog's challenge has same theme requirement - you will need to make a choice).

Please make a note that only new projects will be excepted!
(you can't enter an old project that was published on your blog or in your gallery before the date of publication of our challenge on Scrap Africa - 2 weeks is more than enough to complete a new project!)

We accept only layout with photo's on it - no blank empty spots!

We would appreciate if you post an active link to Scrap Africa blog wherever it is possible when you publish a project based on our sketch or a challenge.
Please link your project you are entering into the challenge and not your blog or gallery!!!

Our design team will choose the best entries that we will feature on our blog.
Also we will choose someone to be our guest designers for one of our future challenges.

Anyone can take part in our challenges! You do not need to be a South African to play along!

We hope that we will have a lot of scrappy fun together under African sun!

  19. What a lovely blog! And please don't hate me... It's "accept", not "except". Sorry. I teach and I can't help myself when I see misspellings! It's a curse.
I just want you to look even better.
