To celebrate, we have a super sketchy, sketch!! ;-)

Hello everyone, I am so thrilled and honored to be Guest Designer at ScrapAfrica.  Thank you so much Denise for this invitation.  My name is ‘Fena’ and I live in New Jersey, USA.  I hold a Bachelor in Engineering (in computers) and into software development and testing.  I always had that creative bent towards arts and crafts since childhood and when I saw this magical world of scrapbooking I found my creative outlet.  I love creating rich textures and love to incorporate masks, paints, mists, beautiful flowers and embellishments. I love everything from textured paper, old book pages, stamps, flowers to small glass beads in the layouts.  I still have to discover more. The sketch for the challenge was really exciting.  Hope I inspired you in some way. Thank you all for visiting.

Winners and a TOP 4 - Sketch Challenge no.38

Hello Everyone

Wow...you guys really rocked that last sketch and really created such amazing projects! Thanks soooooo much to everyone who played along!!

It's always tough when we can only choose a TOP 3 or 4...but we really do want you to know that every entry is appreciated and that we love them all! ;-)

So to get to that TOP 4.....the voting was really so very close and so I decided to showcase 4 projects, instead of just 3! 

Our winner for this challenge was 2. Mona Pendleton ~ USA with her absolutely stunning and beautiful page! Congratulations Mona! ;-)

We loved your take on the sketch, the distressing and beautiful colours! The black and white photo just pops off the page too! Just beautiful, in every which way! ;-)

We loved the clean styling and the twine to divide up the blocks.  Just a beautiful page, with fabulous styling! Pretty in Pink certainly does the trick! ;-)

"Tag It" Challenge no.39

Hello Everyone

We have a new challenge starting today and it's a "TAG IT" challenge. 

Tags are so versatile and can be used in so many ways!

So our challenge to you is to use your tags and show us what you can do with them.

Please just make sure that you use at least 2 tags.

You can create a page, card or OTP project.

We have an amazing Guest Designer for this challenge.

She is the very talented, creative and super Sylwia Gryczuk.

 My name is Sylwia Gryczuk and I am originally from Poland but I live and create in  Claregalway Co.Galway.  I work with different mixed media materials such as acrylic, inks, watercolours, vintage papers, beeswax, fabric and 3D elements.

 I am very passionate about creating happy art pieces with a little bit of magic. I love painting Fairies, art journaling, collages, altered items and craft projects. In 2012 I have created TandiArt Studio, where I put my whole heart into white canvas, pages and 3D objects to transform them into something happy and soulful.
